With a PhD in Marine Science and 15 years’ experience working on coral reefs, Tyrone is well placed to manage the Foundation's high profile portfolio of reef science projects. His extensive work in resilience, climate change adaptation and adaptive management spanned research, government, non-government organisations and the private sector – including The University of Queensland, Australian Institute of Marine Science, Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, and as a Principal Consultant in the private sector. Tyrone couples his technical expertise with management experience to oversee large projects and build strategic partnerships to work towards solution-driven positive outcomes for coral reefs.
