The Great Barrier Reef is facing a coral bleaching emergency. Please donate today to help bring colour and life back to Australia’s unique natural wonder – before it’s too late.
The Great Barrier Reef has just suffered its most widespread bleaching event yet.
It’s the third mass bleaching event in the last five years, and it comes on the back of our hottest February on record.
Coral bleaching, caused by climate change, threatens the marine life that depends on healthy coral beds.
And ultimately it affects species like dolphins, dugongs, whales, turtles – and humans.
A gift today could help fund research to develop a recovery and resilience plan to prevent the widespread loss of coral and help to protect it from future bleaching events.
Science-based conservation, and the hard work of on-ground partners and communities is giving the Reef its best chance of recovering.
Please donate today to help bring colour and life back to the Reef.
