Experience the Great Barrier Reef like never before with Snapchat

Take an interactive and educational dive into reef restoration and share your pledge to protect the Reef

In collaboration with social media app Snapchat, we’ve launched the first-ever augmented reality experience of the Great Barrier Reef. Right now, you can dive into the Reef and experience this incredible ecosystem on your phone.

Swim amongst turtles, clownfish and an array of other Reef species while helping us achieve our goal of planting a million corals this summer.

Climate change is the greatest threat to our Reef and this is the critical decade in which to act with urgency. Emissions reduction alone is no longer enough to guarantee the survival of the Reef, so we’re working to help the Reef resist, adapt to and recover from the warmer temperatures already caused by climate change. Everybody has a role to play in restoring and preserving our iconic Great Barrier Reef.
