
Dr Paul Greenfield AO

Dr Paul Greenfield AO is a chemical engineer and academic leader who has helped shape Australia’s research and innovation landscape through more than 35 years at the University of Queensland, where he held senior roles including Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost, and Vice-Chancellor (2008–2011).
Paul currently chairs the Cooperative Research Centre for High Performance Soils, supporting sustainable agriculture and innovation, and is a former Chair of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO). Recognised for his scientific leadership and commitment to applied research, Paul continues to mentor and advise on projects that bridge academia, industry and environmental outcomes.
