The Front Line

The Front Line

The Great Barrier Reef is on the front line of climate change in Australia. Rising temperatures and severe weather are among the biggest threats to its health. A community of dedicated volunteers and citizen scientists gather on this line, live on this line, and make this line stronger with every cumulative action they take to protect our Reef.

This 10-part series celebrates the program of community-led initiatives along the length of the Reef. Funded through the Reef Trust Partnership (RTP), these projects are having a positive impact on the health and resilience of the Reef and its communities.
