
Anna Marsden
Managing Director
After two decades leading not for profit and arts organisations in Queensland, Anna joined the Foundation in January 2016 .
With a track record of establishing relationships and pioneering change, Anna has driven record fundraising growth for the Great Barrier Reef. Bringing together corporate and private philanthropy with government and science, she has charted the development of a portfolio of Reef programs that take practical action and deliver the science and innovation needed to protect and restore the Reef for future generations.
Anna is a member of the Foundation’s International Scientific Advisory Committee and the Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program executive committee.
Her previous roles with iconic Queensland organisations include Queensland Ballet (CEO), Queensland Art Gallery / Gallery of Modern Art (Development Director) and the Institute of Modern Art (GM), as well as board positions with Brisbane Festival, Brisbane Powerhouse and Circa.
